species
GSH offers you the opportunity to hunt the thirteen species that exist in Spain, all of which are native to this country.
SPANISH IBEX: The Spanish Ibex, only to be found in Spain, is the king of the European species, the most important trophy for any hunter or mountain lover.
We will offer the hunter the possibility of hunting the four existing sub-species, which are distinguished by the different shapes of their horns and coats and which take the name of the mountains they inhabit.
RED DEER (CERVUS ELAPHUS)

The Spanish red deer is slightly smaller than the Central European species, but it tends to have more points and has attractive palms, all of which make it a majestic animal.
FALLOW DEER (DAMA DAMA)
The Spanish fallow deer is one of the largest in the world. It was brought to the peninsula by the Romans 2000 years ago.
GSH holds the 3rd World Record as well as the Spanish record and various of the best scores recorded in the book of records.
MOUFLON SHEEP (OVIS MUSIMON)
In Spain, magnificent Mouflon trophies are to be had and are capable of making the dreams of many sheep hunters come true.
The mouflon sheep is a very elusive and extremely intelligent animal, as is the case of all sheep, and they will provide the hunter an unforgettable experience.
BARBARY SHEEP (AMMOTRAGUS LERVIA)
GSH offers you the unsurpassable opportunity to hunt this magnificent sheep which is so difficult to find in open spaces throughout the world. The sheep hunting lovers cannot let this opportunity slip through their fingers.
PYRENEAN & CHAMOIS (RUPRICAPRA RUPRICAPRA PIRENAICA)
It gets its name from the Pyrenees, the mountains in which it dwells and which form the natural border between France and Spain. These mountains are one of nature's true spectacles, brimming with life and boasting a considerable chamois population.
Their antlers in the shape of a hook constitute the attractive trophy of one of the most elusive animals of our mountains.
CANTABRIAN CHAMOIS (RUPRICAPRA RUPRICAPRA PARVA)
It inhabits the Cantabrian Mountain Range and it is from these mountains that it gets its name. These mountains form the last outpost of the Spanish bears and there is a significant nucleus of these here.
It bears many similarities to its cousin, the Pyrenean, but is perhaps slightly smaller, as well as showing morphologic differences that are hard to distinguish at first glance.
ROE DEER (CAPREOLUS CAPREOLUS)
The lord of the woods and one of the most elegant and beautiful animals to be found in our lands. The hunt for these animals represents a challenge because of its nature and behaviour.
WILD BOAR (SUS SCROFA)
GSH currently holds the world record. We have estates which due to their special characteristics boast an extensive population of wild boar and therefore provide the opportunity to achieve great trophies. Wild boar hunting is the most popular among the Spanish.
WOLF (CANIS LUPUS)
One of the most difficult trophies to obtain and very few hunters have been lucky enough to come away with one. The licenses are extremely difficult to get because of the rarity of the animal. However, if anyone can obtain them, we can, because after 26 years of experience we have the contacts necessary to succeed.
