hunting
GSH specialises in trophy hunting, meaning that almost 100% of our trophies have the category of a medal and over 80% obtain the gold medal.
We are experts in stalking, the most common form of hunting mountain animals such as roe deer, deer, etc. We also organise still hides in trees, watering spots, etc.
Bow and muzzle hunters are also extremely welcome; with us they can achieve all those longed-for trophies, both on stalks and hides. In the case of the Ibex, this proves more difficult given that the shots are very long even though we have succeeded on numerous occasions in the past, all that is required is "the perfect stalk".
A guide-interpreter will meet the hunter at the airport with all of the necessary documentation for the arms and hunting duly filled in. He will then accompany the hunter throughout the trip, helping him at every turn until he returns home.
Our guides are highly experienced in hunting and are well aware of the needs of our clients, whom they have been helping for years, both in the basic matters of the trip and in the choice of the best trophies.
The stalk takes place in early morning and at dawn, as a result of which the hunters are usually back home in time to enjoy our famous Spanish cuisine and rest for a while before returning to the field at sunset.
The case of the Ibex and the Chamois is somewhat different given that as it is high mountain hunting, the hunters are out during the whole day and food is brought to the mountain. Depending on our success, we will either return to the Hotel or spend the night in small cabins high up on the mountain, equipped with all the necessary accoutrements for the hunter who will have the opportunity to watch one of the most amazing landscapes possible unfold.
